General Questions
What areas do you serve?
Our primary service area includes Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, Cary and the whole Triangle area, including Research Triangle Park, Morrisville, Wake Forest, Greensboro and Winston-Salem. We do a ton of work with the local colleges and universities like UNC, Duke, NC State, Elon and Campbell. We have experience with most of the local venues and partner with most vendors often.
We also often travel to the NC coast and mountains in cities like Wilmington and Asheville. Travel is part of our job so don’t hesitate to drop us a line if your event location is outside of our primary service area or North Carolina!
How far in advance should I book your services?
Large, awesome corporate events have a lot of moving parts and can be logistically challenging! For events like conferences, corporate retreats, galas and brand launches, we recommend booking at least 2-3 months in advance. This gives us time to coordinate with your venue, source the specialty equipment you need and plan every technical detail. That said, we understand that corporate events sometimes come together quickly and we are here for it 100% so contact us if your timeline is tight and we will make it unstoppable!
Can you provide onsite technical support during events?
Not only can we but that is job #1! Setting up your event AV is the easy part of the job. Before your event starts, the mics will be tested, the video will be checked and the lighting will look spectacular. Once everything is ready to go, it is time to get to work. We will be onsite and at the controls right beside you ready to move your event along smoothly from start to finish. If problems pop up then back ups will get activated. Your experienced AV technician will be there to handle the small stuff so you can focus on event success and guest satisfaction!
Can you work with our venue’s existing AV system?
In a word, yes! In a bunch of words, we will probably provide most of the AV equipment ourselves but sometimes it does make the most sense to use the existing house sound system. You can be sure that we will exhaust every avenue to save you time and money by reaching out and working with the venue team. We have experience at most of the local venues so there is a great chance that we already know how to maximize the existing venue equipment and logistics. We’ll handle all the technical coordination so you don’t have to worry about compatibility or communication between multiple vendors.
How does the quote process work?
Start by dropping us a line or filling out the RFP through our contact page. We’ll reach out to schedule a consultation to discuss your event details, including the date, venue, guest count and technical needs. From there, we’ll provide a detailed proposal outlining services, equipment and pricing. Once you approve, we’ll move quickly to navigate the logistics with your venue and finalize all technical details leading up to your event. You’ll have a single unstoppable point of contact throughout the entire process with one of our event concierges.
Can you source specialty equipment if we have unique requests?
Events are as unique as the people that plan them and the people that attend them and this is what really helps set our events apart. We will be ready with specialty equipment that will give your event some personality! We have great relationships with most of the local event vendors so we can save you time searching for that perfect backdrop, stage or decor piece. If you want non-standard pipe and drape, specialty lighting effects or anything else just let us know and we WILL make it happen.
What types of corporate events do you support?
Basically, we support corporate events that need microphones or screens or lighting. A large number of our corporate events will have a presenter or keynote speaker with a microphone and a screen near them. No event is too large or too small!
Those may include:
- Corporate Retreats
- Brand Launches
- Educational Conferences
- Sales Awards
- CEO Presentations
- Executive Conferences
- Holiday Parties
- Training Seminars
- Band PA System and Microphone Support
Audio Services
What type of microphones do you provide for keynote speakers?
Microphones can get complicated! We have mics for round tables and panels and we have mics for rock concerts and everything in between. For keynote speakers, most of the time they prefer a wireless lapel or lavalier microphone though we also provide podium microphones and other handheld options. During consultation, we will discuss your microphone needs and recommend what we think is the best solution. There is a huge diversity of microphone needs and microphone solutions and we can help with them all!
Do you provide onsite audio technicians or just equipment rental?
Basically every event that we partner with will have an AV technician professional onsite from start to finish. We will occasionally send out equipment for a rental but that is not our business model. Your AV technician will arrive early for setup and testing, keep an eye on audio levels and equipment performance during your program so you don’t have to.
How many microphones do I need for a panel discussion with four people?
For a four person panel, we would typically recommend one wireless handheld microphone per person, one for the MC or leader and at least one for audience participation and Q&A. During consultation, we will assess your specific setup and recommend the optimal microphone count and configuration.
Can you provide background music and playlists for our event?
Yes, we sure can and that is a great way to loosen things up a bit if that’s the vibe that you are looking for! Some of our event partners want a quiet break in between panels or discussions and some want a little light music. We are happy to provide a custom playlist for you or you can provide us with that playlist.
What’s included in your audio services?
We take extreme ownership of any event that we are a part of so you will get high quality sound equipment regardless of the suite of services that you hire us for. We DO NOT provide budget audio services because budget audio equipment sounds terrible and it will drop out. Backup equipment is always included in every quote just in case. Your AV technician will test the microphones for feedback, battery level and drop outs. Your AV tech table will be clean, organized and discreet. You get comprehensive audio production with expert support from start to finish.
How far in advance should I book audio services for my corporate event?
If you would love to work with us then we would love to work with you too! Our calendar is typically pretty full so we recommend booking as early as possible but we have an awesome team of event professionals that are ready to go at a moment’s notice. Contact us today!
Do you provide audio services in Raleigh and Durham?
We sure do and this is our home market! We also travel as far as you would like us to go but we do 90% of our events in Raleigh, Durham, Morrisville, RTP, Cary, Chapel Hill, Apex, Wake Forest, Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina.

Streaming Services
What streaming platforms do you work with?
We work with all major streaming platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Vimeo and custom RTMP solutions. Our platform-agnostic approach means we adapt to whatever system works best for your organization rather than forcing you into a specific technology.

Whether you need to connect five satellite offices or broadcast to hundreds of remote attendees across different platforms, our technical setup handles multi-destination streaming seamlessly.

Can you stream our pre-recorded videos during the event?
Absolutely. We seamlessly integrate pre-produced content, promotional videos, training materials or any pre-recorded elements into your live stream. Our video switching equipment transitions smoothly between live cameras and playback content so remote attendees experience a polished, professional broadcast.

We coordinate with your venue before your event to assess internet capabilities and ensure sufficient bandwidth for reliable streaming. For mission-critical events, we can provide dedicated internet connections or bonded cellular backup systems to guarantee stream stability regardless of venue limitations.
Do you coordinate with our venue’s existing systems?
Yes. Venue coordination is a core part of our service. We work directly with your venue’s technical staff to integrate our streaming setup with their existing audio/video systems, internet infrastructure and any in-house equipment, ensuring everything works together seamlessly.
Lighting Services
Can you project my company logo at my event?
Yes. We create custom gobos from your corporate artwork and project your logo on floors, walls or ceilings throughout your venue. This works for product launches, conferences, galas and any event where brand reinforcement matters.
What is uplighting and how does it work?
Uplighting uses LED fixtures positioned around your venue perimeter to wash walls in color. We program them to match your corporate brand colors or event theme. This transforms plain walls into branded features and creates professional atmosphere in ballrooms and conference spaces.
How many uplights do I need for my venue?
This depends on your venue size and layout. As a general guide, most ballrooms need fixtures every 8-10 feet around the perimeter for even coverage. We assess your specific venue during consultation and recommend the right quantity for your space.
Can you match our corporate brand colors with lighting?
Yes. Our LED fixtures can be programmed to match specific brand colors. Provide us with your brand color codes during consultation and we program fixtures accordingly.
Do you provide onsite lighting technicians?
Yes. Every lighting service includes an experienced technician who remains onsite throughout your event to manage lighting cues and handle any adjustments needed during your program.
Can you work with my venue’s existing lighting?
Yes. We coordinate directly with venue coordinators to understand their existing systems and design our lighting to integrate seamlessly. This coordination happens behind the scenes without requiring your involvement.
What is the difference between uplighting and pin spotting?
Uplighting creates ambient color washes across walls and large areas. Pin spotting uses focused beams to highlight specific elements like award tables, centerpieces or speaker podiums. Both serve different purposes and often work together at corporate events.
How far in advance should I book lighting services?
We recommend booking as soon as you have your venue and date confirmed. This ensures availability and gives us adequate time for custom gobo creation if your event requires corporate logo projection.
Can you create custom lighting designs for product launches?

Special Effects
What is haze?
Haze is an atmospheric effect that helps lighting be seen much more easily. It is basically invisible in a dark room and then when lights shine through it they look much brighter and more colorful
Can I use cold sparks indoors?
The short answer is yes but we need to get approval from your venue first. Just like almost anything, we need to be respectful and make sure your venue is aware that we are going to be providing cold sparks
How would I use CO2 blasts/cryo effects?
CO2 blasts are great visually like a stream of clouds coming out of a cannon but they dissipate almost immediately so no long lasting fog effect from them. Also, if you want to add a cool touch to a hot dance floor then shoot a CO2 cannon and drop the temps and add a super unique effect.
Do snow effect machines really shoot snow?
Nope! The ‘snow’ is more like a very light soap but not sticky or slippery. It looks exactly like white, fluffy snow and is a really fun effect and a crowd pleaser.
Can I use blacklights from home or the local store?
Large room blacklights need to be truly huge and specialized to make a room glow like you are thinking. Without dedicated, large format blacklights, all of the neon tape and reactive paint just won’t work properly.
